Kyong-Soon Lee

Dr. Lee completed her MD at the University of Toronto, Paediatric Residency at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Toronto, and a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. She worked as a neonatologist at McMaster University from 1995-2005 and was the Program Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program at McMaster University from 1998-2004. She returned to SickKids in 2005 to her current position as a neonatologist and Associate Medical Director of the Acute Care Transport Services.

Research

The focus of Dr. Lee's research has been to improve outcomes in neonatology through a data driven evaluation of practices, and the utilization of national and international collaborations to disseminate best practices, and implement interventions. The main themes in her research are transport medicine and quality improvement in neonatology.
